Ashlea McMillan
Ashlea McMillan is a realtor from Paducah, Kentucky with decades of hyper-local real estate experience. She’s a big personality, and an even bigger fan of Paducah. Ashlea is constantly investing in the cultural landscape with her community events and improving the town’s physical landscape with her real estate business.
The Challenge
Ashlea recognized that, in order to compete in the modern real estate game, she would need a strong digital presence. Armed only with the same stock templates as her peers, she set out to establish herself online.
But it didn’t work. It didn’t feel like her, or it felt forced, or it didn’t get any engagement at all. Nothing was coming naturally. That’s where we stepped in.
The Solution
Working closely with Ashlea, we began to form an understanding, not only of her work as a realtor, but of who she is as a person. With this insight, we created a personal brand that highlights all of the things that make it so special to work with Ashlea McMillan. Her brand is colorful, inviting, and unmistakably Ashlea. It celebrates her enthusiasm, her local pride, and her ability to connect people with their perfect space.
To accompany her new brand, we created a brand video that plays like a love letter to Paducah. It moves through familiar streets, river views, and local landmarks while showcasing properties that Ashlea has had a hand in selling.
We also completely refreshed her digital presence, with a functional, modern new website and social media graphics that instantly made her stand out from the crowd.
The Results
The bland templates and stock graphics used by every local realtor went from a source of grievance for Ashlea to an immediate leg-up. Suddenly, she stood head and shoulders above her competition with her custom social graphics alone. Tack on the social traffic driven by her brand video and an influx of visitors to her responsive new website, and Ashlea had successfully undergone a makeover that had everyone chattering – all backed by the power of a personal brand that felt authentic to her.
